Dr. Josh Lange
Dr. Josh Lange is a therapeutic optometrist and optometric glaucoma specialist in Houston, Tx.
Dr. Lange is native to western New York, having been born and raised in a small suburb outside of Buffalo, on the Niagara River.There, at the State University of New York College at Buffalo, he earned his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, graduating Summa Cum Laude. However, after working only a few short years, Dr. Lange quickly realized that his true passion was serving others and felt his call to become a Doctor of Optometry.
After completing his post-baccalaureate premedical studies, Dr. Lange and his family moved to Houston to attend the prestigious University of Houston College of Optometry. Throughout his doctoral training, Dr. Lange participated in a variety of sub-specialty clinics including neuro-optometry/MS eye care and traumatic brain injury. He also performed externships through both primary care and specialty-referral clinics, which provided a wealth of knowledge and experience in patient care, diagnosing and treating ocular disease, and co-managing cataract, retinal, and refractive surgeries. He earned his doctorate in 2014, graduating Summa Cum Laude, with recognition as a member of both the Beta Sigma Kappa International Optometric Honor Society and the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society.
Dr. Lange and his wife, Sarah, have been married for nine years, have one daughter, and their family is proud to now call Houston their home.
